Who is a Provider?
A provider is a branded workspace on Komashi — a subdomain managed by one or more users through the Komashi Control Center.
If you sell any service that customers can buy or subscribe to, you are a provider.
What a provider is in Komashi
Each provider has its own:
- Subdomain — your store lives at
yourbrand.komashi.com. Set it up in Basic Settings. - Services and pricing — what you offer and how customers pay. See Manage Services.
- Customers and subscriptions — everyone who subscribes to your services. See Customers.
- Billing details — the single legal billing entity for this provider, used on the invoices you issue. See Billing Details.
- Payments and payouts — connected through your payment provider. See Payment Provider.
- Team members — users you invite to help manage the provider. See Users and Permissions.
Who can be a provider?
- A freelancer selling a single service
- A company offering multiple services
- A software provider selling subscriptions
- A business managing several products or brands
Team members
A provider can have multiple users with different roles. Admins have full access to all settings. Operators manage day-to-day tasks like customers and subscriptions, but cannot access billing or configuration settings.

How the provider gets paid
The provider is the seller. Customers pay through the provider's own payment provider, and payouts land directly in the provider's account.

Komashi is not involved in the money flow.
In short, a provider is the seller in the system — the one who creates services, manages customers, and receives payouts.
