What is the difference between a one-time payment and a subscription?

A subscription charges the customer on a recurring basis — daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly — until they cancel.

A one-time payment charges the customer once with no recurring billing.

Both options are available in the Pricing editor of each service (and the billing type is also chosen when you first create the service).
