Countries
Stripe availability depends on the country of your Stripe account. Check Stripe's country list for your business.
Currencies
Stripe supports more than 135 currencies. Komashi sends an order only in a currency on its supported list.
Payment methods
In Hungary, Stripe accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay and debit cards. Other methods depend on your account settings.

What Komashi uses

Komashi opens a Stripe Checkout session for each order, in the order's currency, and reads the result from Stripe webhooks.

Why choose Stripe

Choose Stripe when your payments already run on Stripe and you want its hosted checkout, account tools and payment method settings.

Connect your Stripe account

  1. 1 In Stripe, copy your secret API key. Test keys start with sk_test_, live keys with sk_live_.
  2. 2 In Komashi's payment provider settings, choose Stripe and paste the key.
  3. 3 Run the connection test, then enable Stripe for your space.
  4. 4 Make sure Stripe sends its webhook events to Komashi, so payment results reach your orders.

Limits to know

  • Komashi accepts only Stripe secret keys, and only in the sk_test_ or sk_live_ format.
  • Komashi sends only currencies on its supported list. Other currencies are not offered at checkout.
  • Refunds, disputes and payout timing are handled in Stripe, not in Komashi.

Your Stripe account

You own the Stripe account, its credentials and its terms. Stripe decides eligibility, fees and which features are available to you.

What Komashi does

Komashi coordinates the offer, order and subscription workflow. Customer payments go through your connected provider; Komashi does not process payments or hold customer funds.
