All use cases

Sell managed services without building the billing workflow.

Offer ongoing support and operations as a subscription, with one package, one billing period and optional extras.

A managed service is one promise, but its price is spread across quotes.

The package, the extras and the onboarding fee often live in different documents. Each change then needs a new quote and a manual invoice.

A premium package, its extra, and one onboarding charge.

The Premium package is $390 per month. Extra pages add $30, so the recurring total is $420. The $150 onboarding is charged once and kept out of that total.

Recurring total

$420.00

Premium package $390.00
Extra pages + $30.00
Next 3 months

$1,260.00

Premium package $1,170.00
Extra pages + $90.00
Onboarding $150.00, charged once

Choose the package, then the add-ons it allows.

Each managed service has one main package. Supported add-ons are added on top, so the base offer stays readable.

  • Define one package per service level, with what the customer receives.
  • Add supported extras as separate lines, not as a rewrite of the package.
  • State any included allowance on the package, so the limit is clear to the customer.

A recurring package, plus a one-time onboarding charge.

The package and its extras renew each period. The onboarding charge is billed once and does not return at renewal.

  • The recurring package and extras are billed on the chosen period.
  • The onboarding charge is billed once and not repeated at renewal.
  • A higher package applies at once with a prorated charge. A lower one waits for renewal.

Komashi bills the service. Operations stay with your team.

The subscriptions behind the service are managed here. Delivering, monitoring and supporting the service happens outside the billing system.

  • Komashi is not a help desk, a monitoring tool or a remote-management product.
  • Service levels and how they are enforced are defined and tracked in your own process.
  • A customer with a management link can change plan only where self-service is enabled, the subscription is active and it is not on a trial.

Komashi packages and bills the service. It is not a help desk, a monitoring or remote-management tool, an SLA enforcement product or a fulfillment system.
