All use cases

See what members use. Let them manage the rest.

Komashi shows what each member has used in the current billing period, and gives every customer a link to manage their own subscription.

Members ask what they have left, and every change becomes a support request.

Usage lives in a spreadsheet, and plan changes or payment updates reach you by email. Both can move into one subscription record.

Usage per member, against what the membership includes.

Each member's used amount sits beside their included amount for the current period. Your team corrects a value when needed, and the remaining amount updates with it.

Each member is on one membership, with its own usage.

The membership sets the included amount. Usage is counted against it for each member, so the limit reads the same way for everyone.

  • Set the included amount on the membership, such as visits per period.
  • Each member's usage is shown against that amount, with a status for when it is used up.
  • Members on the same membership share one price and one set of included amounts.

Billed on the membership cycle.

Memberships renew monthly or yearly. The price applies to each billing period, and plan changes follow the rules below.

  • Billed monthly or yearly, with the period shown on each subscription.
  • An upgrade applies at once with a prorated charge. A downgrade waits for the renewal date.
  • Usage is not billed automatically. It is a record your team keeps.

What your team records, and what customers do themselves.

Usage is entered by your team, not by the customer, and it cannot go above the included amount.

  • Only operators can edit usage, and a value cannot exceed the limit.
  • Customers manage their subscription only through the management link, and only where the service allows self-service.
  • Komashi does not check members in or open access to facilities.

A management link, no login needed.

Create the link from the customer record and share it. It opens only that customer's subscriptions, and the customer manages them there.

  • See the subscription

The customer sees their plan, the renewal date and their current usage.

  • Change the plan

An upgrade applies at once. A downgrade waits for the renewal date.

  • Update payment

The customer can choose or change the payment method for their subscription.

  • Pay or cancel

The customer can pay an open invoice or cancel. Access stays until the period ends by default.

Komashi runs the membership offer, checkout, usage record and subscription. It does not control website content, community tools, facility access or check-in.

Give your members one place to see and manage their membership.
