The OpenAI endpoint leaves out the tools that create subscriptions, create payment links or change a subscription plan. ChatGPT cannot send a customer to checkout or start an upgrade or downgrade. It does not replace the Control Center, where setup, billing configuration and subscription creation stay.

ChatGPT connects to the OpenAI endpoint of the Komashi MCP server. Sign in with the account that manages your provider, then approve the connection. It carries the mcp:use scope, and each call is checked against that account's access to the provider.

Frequently asked questions
Can ChatGPT create a subscription for a customer?
No. The OpenAI endpoint does not include the subscription creation tool. Create subscriptions in the Control Center or through an agent connected to the full MCP endpoint.
Can a customer upgrade a plan from ChatGPT?
No. Plan changes and payment links are not available on the OpenAI endpoint.
Is ChatGPT a full replacement for the admin dashboard?
No. It covers a subset of operations. Setup, billing configuration and subscription creation stay in the Control Center.
