How is the partner commission calculated?
Your Level 1 partner commission is a percentage of the fees a referred provider pays to Komashi — not a percentage of the provider's revenue, and not the same as the provider's own Komashi fee.
Commission is only generated on paid Komashi fees, above the provider's free usage tier (their first 10 highest-value invoices each month are free of Komashi fees, so they generate no commission).
Level 1 commission tiers
The rate depends on the referred provider's annual revenue:

The percentage applies to the fees paid to Komashi, not the provider's full revenue.
Duration
You earn commission from each referred provider for 3 years (36 months) from the date their account is activated. After 3 years, commission from that provider stops — keep adding new providers to grow your income.
No commission accrues while a referred provider's account is blocked or terminated.
Commissions are calculated monthly and credited once the provider actually pays their Komashi fees. Payout is then requested by you in the Payouts section — see When will I receive my first partner payout?.
Your Level 1 rate sits inside the commission the provider already pays; it never adds to their bill, and Komashi pays you from its own revenue.
